Our Approach to Personalized Therapy
Every client’s journey is unique. We create thoughtful treatment plans that blend evidence based and depth oriented approaches to support both immediate concerns and long term wellbeing. Our services include:
ACT, CBT, and DBT-Informed Strategies
Our therapists use research-backed techniques like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to empower youth. These practical tools help adolescents manage stress, reframe negative thoughts, and stay grounded during emotional challenges, promoting mental resilience.Psychodynamic Therapy for Deeper Insight
Through psychodynamic therapy, clients explore emotions, formative relationships, and recurring patterns to deepen self understanding and strengthen their sense of identity.Neurobiologically-Informed Care
We incorporate an understanding of the brain body connection to support nervous system regulation, emotional flexibility, and sustained personal growth.Family Systems Therapy for Stronger Connections
Kincove works with families to enhance communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen relational support systems. Our family-focused therapy ensures adolescents and their loved ones build healthier, more supportive dynamics.Integrative Wellness with Nutrition Focus
Recognizing the link between physical and mental health, we incorporate guidance on sleep, movement, and nutrition into our care plans. This holistic approach supports overall wellbeing, supporting healthy mental and physical development.
At Kincove, we also honor the central role of the family. While we prioritize teen and young adult autonomy in therapy, we believe they do best when supported by strong, healthy relationships with caregivers. That’s why our process includes a parent-only intake session, regular parent check-ins every 4–6 weeks (or more frequently as needed), and ongoing collaboration. We strive to balance the growing independence of adolescence with the reality that teens still need connection, structure, and guidance from the adults in their lives.
