Our Story

How We Got Here

Adolescence is a time of both vulnerability and possibility. It is a season when challenges often surface, but also when the right support can create lasting growth.

As sisters and therapists, Emily and Sophia saw firsthand how limited the options were for young people. When concerns became acute, most available services focused on short term crisis support and symptom management. But there were far fewer spaces centered on prevention, skill building, and long term resilience.

They envisioned something different. A place where adolescents and families could receive meaningful support before things reached a breaking point. A space grounded in connection, neuroscience informed care, and whole family involvement.

Kincove was created to bridge that gap and equip young people and families with the emotional tools, connection, and care needed for meaningful, lasting growth.

Our mission is to help adolescents and young adults improve their mental, physical and relational well-being.

We envision a world where...

A speech bubble with the message: "Therapy and mental health practices are encouraged and celebrated."

Text in a speech bubble that reads 'Discussions about mental health are normalized, frequent and non-judgmental.'
