Group Therapy For Young Adults
A SAFE SPACE TO CONNECT AND GROW
Young adulthood can be surprisingly isolating. Friendships shift, relationships become more complicated, family roles change, and there can be pressure to seem like you know what you are doing even when you do not.
Led by one or two therapists, group gives you the opportunity to:
Build genuine connection with people in a similar stage of life
Gain perspective and insight from people outside your usual circle
Learn more about yourself through how you connect, communicate, and relate to others
Get more comfortable expressing yourself by sharing your thoughts, speaking up, and having honest conversations with others
What To Expect In Group
Each group has a clear focus and structure, with room for what members are actually navigating that week.
Sessions may include check ins, open discussion, therapist guided questions, activities, and practical tools. Therapists help guide the conversation and make connections between what members share and what may be happening beneath the surface.
The group is guided, not scripted. Members can take time to get comfortable and participate at their own pace.
Thoughtfully Matched Groups
Who is in the room matters. We consider age, life stage, personality, what each person wants support with, and the overall group dynamic. Everyone speaks with a therapist before joining to make sure the group feels like a good fit.
Group lets you work with relationship patterns in real time. You may notice when you hold back, expect judgment, or pull away when something feels uncomfortable. With support, you can check assumptions, speak more directly, and try a different way of responding.
Group therapy is $50 per 75-minute session.
Some groups run as a fixed series, while others allow rolling enrollment. Consistent attendance is encouraged because trust and familiarity help the group become more useful over time.
If you are unable to attend a particular week, you will not be charged for that session. Specific attendance expectations will be reviewed during your consultation or screening call.
A limited number of reduced-fee spots are available based on financial need.

We’ll talk with you before you join to make sure the particular group feels like a good fit.

You don’t have to be outgoing or comfortable sharing right away. It’s normal to take some time to get a feel for the group and the people in it. There’s room to listen, participate at your own pace, and share more as you become comfortable.
-
It depends on the group and what members are experiencing that week. Conversations might include dating, friendships, family, anxiety, identity, loneliness, work or school, boundaries, relationships, comparison, confidence, or feeling unsure about what comes next.
You’re also welcome to bring in something specific that’s happening in your life.

We’re thoughtful about group fit. We consider age, life stage, what you’re hoping to get from the group, and the existing group dynamic rather than simply placing everyone who is interested into the same group.
