Teen Girls Group
A space for girls to connect, build confidence, work through friendships and social dynamics, and learn more about themselves and others.
Friendships at this age can change quickly. A close friendship feels different, a group chat becomes stressful, something happens at school and gets replayed all night, or it’s hard to know when to speak up and when to let something go.
Kincove’s Teen Girls Group gives girls a place to talk through these situations with other girls their age, hear different perspectives, and better understand their own reactions, relationships, and needs.
Led by two therapists, sessions have structure while leaving room for what’s actually happening in the girls’ lives.
Topics We Explore
Each group is shaped by the girls in the room, with topics that may include:
Friendship changes, conflict, exclusion, and group dynamics
Social anxiety, overthinking, and worrying what others think
Confidence, comparison, identity and self-doubt
Boundaries, speaking up, and expressing what you need
Social media, peer pressure, and fitting in
Strong emotions and how they affect relationships
